A quiet fragment of a pond, where late-season lotus leaves curl into elegant, graphic shapes. Some are already dry, their edges folding inward with time. Reflections ripple softly on the water’s surface, echoing each contour. One slender stem stands poised — motionless — just before bending, as if hesitating to touch its own reflection. The palette of soft blue-greens speaks of stillness, memory, and the quiet surrender of the season. This is a meditative piece — a quiet scene filled with subtle drama, inviting the viewer to linger and discover the poetry in a fleeting moment of nature.

Where it's been: This painting was presented at Art Amoy 2015(Xiamen, China), Shanghai Art Fair 2015-2017 ( Shanghai, China) and was included in exhibition catalogues.
