This painting reflects the timeless elegance of lotus leaves across the seasons. Even as they wilt, their graceful forms and graphic lines endure. Using a masking technique with tape, the artist layered paint to create areas where glimpses of underlying shapes—reminiscent of leaves—peek through the finished surface. This invites the viewer’s perception to complete the image, engaging with the work as if the forms continue beyond what is fully rendered, emphasizing the subtle interplay between time, memory, and the persistence of beauty. The lotus leaf serves as a reminder to always strive for beauty and grace in the face of adversity. Careful packing in reinforced cardboard box and safe shipping.
